From the bayous of south Louisiana, welcome to Black Bayou Bonsai. We are a bonsai nursery specializing in native trees from Louisiana and southeast Texas and a few from surrounding states. We don’t import any trees from out of the country but we do have traditional trees in bonsai that are grown here. All of the bonsai and pre-bonsai were styled and trained by us. Our trees come from collected stock, seed or cuttings or wholesale nurseries. We sell quality bonsai trees, pre- bonsai, nursery stock, supplies and accessories.

We offer one on one or group classes and workshops here at the nursery. We teach how to train, style, trim, wire, pot and repot, root trimming, soil mixes, watering and fertilizing and maintaining your tree. We have 20 years of experience in the art of bonsai.

We are located in Lake Charles, LA. off of Tom Hebert Rd. Our nursery is by appointment only so please call for physical address and directions. Sorry for the inconvenience.
